A bit about me
Hey there!
I'm Marat, a Frontend Engineer based in Berlin, Germany. I develop sustainable and fast web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. From micro frontends to optimized deployment workflows, I prioritize scalable architecture, performance, and clean design in my projects.
Education & Experience
My journey into tech started at the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET), where I earned my B.Sc. in Computer Science. During my studies I discovered a passion for building products and solving problems through code, which shaped my way of thinking as an engineer and continues to drive my work today.
Nowadays, I work at a leading online media company, where I’ve been involved in a wide range of projects. For example, I helped launch and maintain the company’s online store as its owner and lead developer. I also contributed to the creation of donation tools and fundraising platforms, while continuing to develop our main website, CMS, and other projects.
What I Work With – Tech & Languages
Over the years I’ve worked with a broad range of technologies. My daily toolkit includes JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS, with a strong focus on React and Next.js. I’ve also gained experience with Vue and Svelte, as well as backend technologies like Node.js, Express, GraphQL, PostgreSQL and Redis.
In my projects I use modern tools such as Webpack, Babel, Storybook, Jest, GitHub Actions, Docker and Figma, and I’m familiar with platforms and integrations like Sanity CMS, Shopify and Stripe. I care about performance, clean UI/UX, scalable architectures such as micro frontends, and modern concepts including SPA, PWA, CI/CD and A/B testing.
I speak English fluently, have intermediate German skills (I’m currently learning German further and find the language truly fascinating), and Russian is my native language.
Hobbies
When I’m not coding, you’ll probably find me traveling, watching movies and series, or picking up new languages. And whenever I can, I love spending time with my dog.
